How do I setup new or renew Red Hat Registration files with Red Hat Satellite Server?

I just came across this excellent blog post here from my colleague Tim Elwood. He describes how to setup new or renew Red Hat Registration files for deployment of RedHat Satellite Server. Some of this was already documented in sections 7.2.2 and 7.2.3 of this Redbook, but hist blog post is more recent and contains detailed instructions in particular on how to register your entitlements with Red Hat.
